An opportunity has arisen for a 4-year PhD studentship within the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London funded by the EPSRC Industrial Doctoral Landscape Awards (IDLA)
This is a unique opportunity for a Junior Analytical Technician to contribute to an innovative and multidisciplinary project, which focuses on developing a novel breath test for the early detection of gastrointestinal cancers (oesophageal, gastric, liver, pancreatic and colorectal). We welcome informal enquiries from potential postdoctoral fellows with outstanding research track records who are prepared to apply for independent research funding, for example from the European Union, HFSP, etc. Full assistance will be given in preparing a competitive research proposal.
